Job Overview
We're seeking a Kia Master Technician to deliver manufacturer-standard diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. You will work with the latest Kia technologies (including hybrid/EV systems), uphold brand quality, and support a high-performing workshop through mentoring and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Kia vehicles to OEM standards
* Use Kia diagnostic systems (e.g., GDS/KDS), technical bulletins, and service information
* Complete warranty/recall work and documentation accurately
* Calibrate ADAS and carry out software updates, coding, and programming where required
* Road-test and verify repairs; complete job cards, VHCs, and service records
* Maintain a safe, compliant, and organised workshop; follow H&S and environmental procedures
* Mentor junior technicians and apprentices; support continuous improvement
Qualifications
* Trade-certified Vehicle Mechanic
* Kia Master Technician certification or equivalent OEM master-level training
* EV/High-Voltage (e.g., IMI Level 3) and F-Gas/Air-Con handling certifications (desirable)
* Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in a dealership or OEM workshop environment
Key Skills
* Expert fault-finding (electrical, CAN bus, diagnostics) and technical problem-solving
* Proficiency with OEM diagnostic platforms and digital service tools
* High attention to detail, quality focus, and right-first-time approach
* Clear communication and ability to mentor others
