Job Title: Care Manager for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Manager to join our team. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of adults with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting.
Your primary objective will be to deliver high-quality care that meets the individual needs of each service user. This will involve creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters independence, confidence, and personal growth.
You will work closely with the service users to develop personalized plans that cater to their unique needs and preferences. You will also supervise staff and ensure that they provide exceptional support and care to the service users.
In addition to your clinical expertise, you will need excellent communication and organizational skills to manage day-to-day operations, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
* Create and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user.
* SUPervise staff to ensure delivery of high-quality care and support.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service user progress and any concerns.
* Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in care management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or relevant qualification;
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities;
- Proven managerial skills with a minimum of three years' experience at a management level;
- Ability to work on own initiative and supervise service users/staff in a residential setting;
- Experience of managing residential budgets;
- Experience in managing behaviours that challenge;
- Good organisation and communication skills;
- Full manual driving license.
