A leading organisation operating in the construction industry are seeking an experienced
O&M Plant Opertaions Manager
based out of their Leinster head office. The Plant Manager will have responsibility for managing daily operations of the equipment procurement, inventory management, and maintenance function for the business units multi-site operations.
Responsibilities
* You will work closely and collaborate with senior stakeholders across multiple functions to ensure commitment for process improvement initiatives.
* Lead the design and redesign of procurement business processes in order to eliminate waste and optimise resource utilisation.
* Define KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the business processes while establishing mechanisms for ongoing monitoring and reporting.
* Analysing all the telematic information regarding machines and their operators (Caretrak, Komtrak, Finntrak etc.).
* Manage lead times on all machinery ensuring availability for maintenance contracts.
* Identify opportunities for cost saving across fuel consumption focusing on the organisations long term sustainability goals.
* Building long-term working relationships with site leaders across multiple sites over the island of Ireland.
Experience
* Excellent knowledge of equipment and plant machinery for the construction industry sector.
* Ability to influence, build consensus and look for collaboration with stakeholder from multiple functions and levels.
* Demonstrated experience in negotiations with the ability to drive operational excellence and cost saving initiatives.
* Experience in operational management of high value heavy machinery.
