HVAC Technical Manager
As Engineering Manager, you'll take ownership of ensuring that all technical aspects of the business meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency. Acting as a key bridge between engineering, product, and sales teams, you'll oversee the development and validation of technical solutions tailored to customer requirements and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical function, ensuring consistent quality and innovation across all HVAC projects and designs.
Provide oversight and guidance for system design, plantroom layouts, and product selection.
Review and approve all technical documentation and submittals prior to client delivery.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive technical library and documentation system.
Collaborate closely with estimation, engineering, product management, and sales teams to ensure optimal project outcomes.
Advise on compliance requirements, efficiency improvements, and system optimisation.
Support value engineering initiatives for client proposals and ongoing projects.
Serve as the primary point of contact for technical queries from internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and standards.
Generate and maintain KPI reports and technical performance metrics.
Maintain awareness of relevant standards, such as Triple E register and DEAP software processes.
Carry out additional duties as required to support business goals.
About You
Degree-qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (Level 8 or equivalent).
A solid technical foundation in HVAC systems, with particular expertise in large-scale chillers and heat pumps.
Experience in a senior technical or quality assurance role within the HVAC sector.
A strong grasp of system design principles and regulatory compliance.
Capable of influencing and guiding multiple teams with clarity and confidence.
Commercially aware, process-oriented, and driven by quality improvement.
Skilled communicator, comfortable liaising with consultants, engineers, and project stakeholders.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software tools.
Eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland on a permanent basis.

Total salary €75,000 to €97,750
Base salary €65,000 to €85,750 depending on experience
