Project Manager Position
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee client-side project management work on a large capital works programme.
This role offers a defined career path with opportunities for advancement. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client interests, providing advice in issue resolution, and optimising existing estate value.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage and monitor construction programmes and cost plans to minimise variation impacts.
* Inform stakeholders of progress, costs, and relevant issues.
* Oversight of tender and contractor/consultant appointment processes.
* Chair and minute project review meetings.
* Ensure smooth information flow between contract parties.
* Monitor build and material quality.
* Ensure contractual compliance among contractors and consultants.
* Assist in front-end design planning and procurement of other projects within the client's portfolio.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction-related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering with a contractor or consulting engineers.
* Knowledge of current construction contracts and procurement methodologies.
* Proven track record of completing projects successfully.
* CURRENT driving licence and vehicle.
This is an initial rolling contract role with potential for permanent position and significant development opportunities.
