Job Description
The Electrical QA/QC Engineer is responsible for supporting the implementation and delivery of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes across projects, ensuring all installations, inspections, and documentation meet project specifications, company standards, and statutory requirements.
The role is site-focused and plays a key part in monitoring quality, supporting inspections and testing, and ensuring accurate and complete documentation to support successful project delivery and handover.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out site inspections to ensure installations meet design specifications and quality standards
Support project teams in implementing QA/QC procedures on site
Assist in monitoring installation works to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
Maintain QA documentation and ensure all records are accurately completed and stored
Use digital QA platforms to record inspections and track progress
Ensure all documentation aligns with project requirements and “As-Built” records
Support the review and compilation of mechanical and electrical test packs
Assist in verifying test results, inspection records, and certification
Ensure all QA documentation is complete and ready for project handover
Liaise with subcontractors to ensure QA requirements are understood and followed
Support site teams with QA processes, procedures, and documentation
Attend site meetings as required to provide QA support
Audit & Compliance
Conduct internal QA audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with standards and specifications
Ensure alignment with relevant industry standards.
Support external audits and client inspections as required
Qualifications
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3–5years’ experience in a QA/QC, site engineering, or construction role
Experience within building services (M&E) or construction environment desirable
Understanding of QA/QC processes and documentation
Knowledge of relevant standards advantageous
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication and ability to work with site teams and subcontractors
