Job Title: Executive Chef Assistant

We are currently recruiting for an Executive Chef Assistant to join our kitchen team at one of Dublin's leading hotels. As part of this exciting role, you will be responsible for supporting the executive chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the executive chef in the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
* Manage and maintain the inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that all stock levels are adequate and well-organized.
* Support the executive chef in the recruitment and training of new kitchen staff, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver exceptional service.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu ideas and recipes, working closely with the executive chef and other members of the kitchen team.
* Ensure that all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to, maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment for all staff and guests.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience as a senior chef or sous chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
* Proven ability to manage and lead a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques and trends, with a passion for innovation and creativity.
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
