Nursing Leadership Role
The Director of Nursing position requires a skilled leader to oversee the nursing team and ensure high-quality resident care. A successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of nursing practices and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Establish and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices to uphold the delivery of quality patient care.
* Offer guidance and support to the nursing team, helping them achieve performance goals.
* Monitor resident care outcomes and quality metrics, identifying areas for enhancement.
* Effectively manage staffing levels to secure adequate coverage while minimizing operational costs.
* Supervise training initiatives for new nurses and facilitate continuous professional development for existing staff.
* Collaborate with other departments to facilitate effective interdisciplinary care.
* Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred)
* Qualification in Management
* Active registration as a Nurse
* Minimum 3 years of experience within the last 5 years, in a leadership role in a healthcare setting
* Strong understanding of nursing practices, regulatory requirements, and industry trends
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Experience managing resources and budgets
* Excellent leadership qualities
