You enjoy working in the cyber security world & and with tech focused teams.Members of our team share many of these core elements:A passion for technology and cyber securityHave a few (or many) years experience in IT & security rolesKnowledge across a widevariety of IT technologies from networks, to OS, to virtualisations, to cloud, etc.Acquire new skills rapidly & accept challenges never before facedA firm understanding of the incident life cycle & core digital forensicsFormally held roles such as system administrator, security engineer network engineer, software/web engineer, incident responder, SOC analyst.Your missionAs a Senior Incident Response consultant within KPMG’s cyber defence and response team you will be operating across a wide variety of clients, and interface with an even wider variety of technologies, your daily duties will include:Rapidly deploy and threat hunt with a variety ofEDR tools (VMware Carbon Black EDR, CrowdStrike, Windows Defender ATP/MDE,, Blackberry Cylance, Symantec ATP) and other IR/security technologies.Undertake activities including, threat hunting, Digital Forensics, malware and malicious script reverse engineering, Threat Intelligence, and post breachsecurity operations,Develop and deliverincident reports, detailing the threat actor’s entry vector, activities recovered artefact, malware, Incident timeline & recommendations.Compromise assessment of complex and variety clients and infrastructure, hunting IOCS, weaknesses and artifacts which are suspect or anomalous.Support technical expert witness engagements for various types of incident and investigationSupport other KPMG cyber defence and response teams in projects which may require your specific skills, such a Red teaming engagements, social engineering, cyberthreat simulations.Your primary home office location will be in Dublin city centre, however we operate a flexible hybrid working arrangement, while the vast majority of our work with clients is remote these days, there will be some requirement to travel to client site, most often within Dublin, sometimes within Europe, and occasionally to further locations across the global as part of our team in multi region engagements.Skills Development & Industry relevant certificationsEvery member of the KPMG cyber security team is on a path to be acyber security subject master expert in their chosen field.
