Salary – €45K - €55K
About the Company
Experienced Site Engineer required to set out for a very busy Contractor in Cork working in both commercial and residential sectors.
They have a range of projects valued up to €30M
This contractor requires an experienced engineer to set out for a residential project in Cork.
The Role
* Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
* Performing checks on the quality of works completed to ensure works are done to a high standard.
* Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
* Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
Requirements
* A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
* Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an engineering role.
* Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination and using a total station.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
