We are seeking an experiencedCloud Platform Leadto establish and scale ourCloud Operations and Centre of Excellence (CCoE).
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on expertise to drive best practices acrossCloudOps, SecOps, FinOps, DevOps, Observability, Infrastructure, IT Support, and Release Management.

We are seeking an experiencedCloud Platform Leadto establish and scale ourCloud Operations and Centre of Excellence (CCoE).
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on expertise to drive best practices acrossCloudOps, SecOps, FinOps, DevOps, Observability, Infrastructure, IT Support, and Release Management.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and cost efficiency of our internal and external infrastructure while supporting the company's rapid growth.
Your responsibilities:
Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) Leadership
Establish and lead theCCoE, ensuring alignment withAWS Well-Architectedprinciples and our company goals
Build and oversee core functions:
CloudOps– Scalable and reliable cloud operations.
Observability– Proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting.
SecOps– Security best practices, compliance, and risk mitigation.
FinOps– Cost governance and cloud spend optimisation.
ProductOps – 3 rd level support and SaaS upgrade management
Driveautomation, efficiency, and continuous improvementthroughinfrastructure-as-codeandself-service cloud management.
Foster collaboration withengineering, security, and finance teamsto integrate cloud best practices into operations.
Create a high-performing and collaborative culture, mentoring and developing the team.
Operational Excellence
Ensure thestability, scalability, and securityof all infrastructure and cloud environments.
Own IT policies, ensuringcompliancewithGDPR, SOC2, ISO *****, and other standards.
Implementobservability and site reliability managementfor real-time system performance monitoring and proactive issue resolution.
Hands-On Contribution
Providetechnical leadershipand troubleshoot complex issues when needed.
Leadcritical incident response, root cause analysis, and long-term resolution strategies.
Develop automated monitoring and alerting systems to enhance operational resilience.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Aligncloud operations with business needs, partnering with product, engineering, and customer success teams.
Manage relationships withthird-party vendors and service providers.
Regularly report acrossKPIs for operational performance, security posture, and cloud costs.
Adhere to company policies and compliance standards.
Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Your profile
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
An advanced degree such as a Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline is an advantage.
8+ years in IT, with at least3 years in leadership roles.
Proven experience inbuilding and modernising a CCoE, aligned with AWS Well-Architected principles.
Expertise inAWS (EC2, S3, RDS, cost optimization)and IT operations acrossFinOps, SecOps, DevOps, and Infrastructure.
Strong understanding ofCI/CD pipelines, IT service management, and security frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, ISO *****).
Experience inmonitoring, observability, and site reliability engineering (SRE)to ensure system uptime and transparency.
Proven ability tobuild and scale teams, balancing hands-on technical work with strategic oversight.
Strong communication skills, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Track record ofsolving complex technical challengesand driving innovation in Tech Operations.
Ability tothrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environmentwith evolving business needs.
