Role Overview

The Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of projects to ensure objectives are met on time and within scope. Working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, this role helps maintain structure, track progress, and facilitate communication throughout the project lifecycle. It is well suited for organized, proactive professionals seeking hands-on experience in project management.

Key Responsibilities


• Support project planning by assisting with schedules, timelines, and task coordination.


• Monitor project progress and update status reports, trackers, and documentation.


• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and follow up on deliverables.


• Maintain organized project records, files, and collaboration platforms.


• Assist with resource coordination and basic budget tracking activities.


• Communicate regularly with team members to ensure alignment on tasks and priorities.


• Identify potential risks, delays, or issues and report them to project leadership.


• Support quality control by verifying deliverables against project requirements.


• Update project management tools to reflect changes and milestones.


• Contribute to process improvements and adoption of best project management practices.

Qualifications and Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.


• Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.


• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.


• Basic understanding of project management principles and workflows.


• Proficiency in office productivity tools; familiarity with project management software is a plus.


• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.


• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and reliable work approach.


• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across departments.


• Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.


• Prior experience in coordination, administration, or project support is advantageous but not required.
