The Student Service Coordinator is responsible for planning, supporting and managing the successful running of the day-to-day operations of the college in terms of supporting learners and staff and the delivery of a highly flexible, responsive and effective services to all. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their role and work closely with members of the Programme Lecturing Team, Learners, and External Stakeholders to ensure the effective provision of supports associated with individual programmes of study.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing day-to-day operations administration duties relevant to business support, IT supports and student services etc.
* Day-to-day management and coordination of the programme, working collaboratively with the programme lecturing team, learners and any external stakeholders.
* Participate as required in open evenings and recruitment events and with organisation of inductions events with learners, staff and external agencies as appropriate.
* Point of contact for lecturing staff and learners in relation to providing support for all programme matters day to day operations, regulations, policies and procedures.
* Coordinating with the appropriate members of the programme lecturing team in relation to any cases of assessment misconduct and appeals.
* Monitoring the overall quality of the learner’s experience through on-going feedback and engagements with learners and staff.
* Ad-Hoc Duties: The Student Services Coordinator will be required to support the general day-to-day operations of the college and from time to time, may be required to perform duties outside the ones outlined above.
Qualifications:
* The ideal candidate should have a Third Level Qualification in Education/Management/ Communications or any other relevant field.
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
* Organised, methodical and thorough approach to work.
* Ability to keep calm under pressure.
* Good at juggling tasks and prioritising.
* A great team player with good people skills.
* Ability to use your own initiative.
* Good telephone manner, good communication skills (verbal & written), fluent in English, attention to detail and high level of accuracy, good organisation and time management skills.

Based at: Hybrid Working – The Open College, Unit 9, Leopardstown Business Centre, Ballyogan Road, Leopardstown, Dublin 18
Position Status: Permanent Full-Time Position
Commencement Date: December 2025
Salary: €27,500 – €28,500 based on experience
