Senior Legal Counsel – IrelandWe are recruiting for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the team and provide critical legal support for cutting-edge research and development operations in Ireland. In this role, you'll be the primary legal advisor on a wide range of issues, from commercial contracts and intellectual property to employment law and compliance.You'll work directly with global legal teams and business leaders, providing strategic, business-focused advice in a dynamic, multinational environment. This is more than just a legal role; it's a chance to be a key partner in driving our business forward while navigating a complex and evolving legal landscape.We\'re looking for an experienced Legal Executive, in-house Counsel, or Solicitor with a strong business acumen and a proven track record in a fast-paced corporate setting.What You'll DoServe as the primary legal contact for our Irish R&D operations, providing expert guidance on commercial, corporate, and compliance matters.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of agreements, including NDAs, service and procurement contracts, IP agreements (licensing and research), and real estate agreements.Advise on regulatory issues such as GDPR, anti-bribery, and export control.Develop and deliver engaging legal training sessions to non-legal teams to promote compliance and best practices.Collaborate with global and local stakeholders to support our research centers and business units.Stay on top of legal developments, proactively identify risks, and advise leadership on potential business impacts.Who You AreAt least 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).Familiarity with IP protection, licensing, or litigation.Solid background in commercial and employment law, and a strong understanding of intellectual property, including patents and trade secrets.Exceptional legal drafting and contract negotiation skills.The ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, actionable advice for non-legal teams.Experience working effectively in a cross-border, multicultural environment.Highly organized with the ability to manage competing demands and prioritize effectively.High level of professional integrity and discretion.A team player who can also work independently.Desired QualificationsPrior in-house legal experience.Experience with cross-border commercial transactions or academic-industry research collaborations.Knowledge of trade compliance and experience engaging with regulatory bodies.Interested?
