Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to support the downstream bioprocessing operations at Lilly in Limerick. The role involves providing technical expertise during process startup and routine manufacturing, focusing on process optimization, data analytics, and process analytical technology to enhance manufacturing efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deep understanding of downstream cell culture processes, molecule-specific control strategies, and critical attributes.
2. Understanding the function and impact of downstream unit operations and equipment.
3. Providing technical support to process science, operational excellence, and compliance teams.
4. Collaborating with quality assurance, operations, and engineering teams to ensure scientific rigor.
5. Using process monitoring tools for data-driven decision-making to ensure process robustness.
6. Applying statistical methods for process validation, tech transfer, and batch analysis.
7. Integrating process parameters with MES/electronic batch records for regulatory compliance.
8. Identifying and implementing process improvements and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
9. Preparing scientific reports and technical documentation.
10. Ensuring safety, compliance, and regulatory standards are met.
11. Contributing to regulatory submissions and responses.
