Our client, an established manufacturing company in Westmeath is looking to hire a HR Generalist to join their team. As a HR Generalist, you will support all HR processes from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring excellent employee experiences. This is an all encompassing HR position where no 2 days are the same

HR Generalist responsibilities:
1. Support on all aspects of the HR function including but not limited to;
2. Act as the lead on recruitment process for indirect groups of employees, supporting with recruitment process for direct employee group as necessary.
3. Support and lead on employee induction phase ensuring a positive onboarding experience for all new joiners.
4. Drive performance management processes assisting and supporting Line Management / Supervisors where necessary.
5. Support on grievance and disciplinary cases to satisfactory resolution.
6. Management of all employee benefit programmes with external vendors.
7. Management of employee engagement initiatives.
8. Reporting of all HR metrics for weekly and monthly management meetings to include but not limited to; employee engagement, absenteeism and turnover.
9. Advise managers on employee relations issues
10. Conduct benchmarking as required.
11. Acting as a support to the management team in building and enhancing the culture, act as an advocate for the company values and cultures in all elements of work conducted as part of the role.
HR Generalist requirements:
12. Third level qualification in HR or CIPD qualification is essential.
13. 4 years experience in a fast paced environment.
14. Experience in Irish employment Law- handling grievances an disciplinaries is essential.
15. Can do attitude and a keen interest in career progression.
16. Experience in a unionised environment an advantage.
