About Your New Job as a Manufacturing Engineer
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing equipment performance, ensuring workplace safety, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Key responsibilities include:
* Reporting all incidents and near misses promptly.
* Conducting risk assessments and driving corrective actions.
* Performing regular safety audits and inspections.
* Troubleshooting and repairing equipment faults.
* Maintaining accurate technical documentation and service records.
* Working closely with engineering to boost equipment reliability.
* Managing spare parts inventory and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation.
* Developing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules.
* Contributing to Lean and continuous improvement projects.
What Skills/Experience You Need
* A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline with 3+ years’ experience, or a trade qualification with 5+ years of relevant experience.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a solid grasp of technical engineering principles.
* Proficiency in IT and maintenance-related software systems.
