Wind Turbine Maintenance Specialist Role
As a Wind Turbine Maintenance Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of wind turbines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform scheduled maintenance and fault rectification to ensure site safety and efficiency.
2. Maximise turbine performance to achieve optimal energy generation throughout the year.
3. Collaborate with experienced technicians to deliver high-quality maintenance using safe work practices.
4. Contribute to improving site performance to increase renewable energy output.
Requirements:
* A Level 3 qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally supported by a recognised apprenticeship.
* Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance, preferably on wind turbines or heavy plant machinery.
* Understanding of safe working practices, including permit systems and working-at-height procedures.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
