Job Description
As a Healthcare Assistant at Budlite Healthcare Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care and support to people with dementia, older people, or people with intellectual disabilities. You will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily living activities, promoting their well-being, and ensuring a caring, safe, and comfortable living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with personal hygiene, managing medications, preparing nutritious meals, supporting mobility, providing emotional companionship, and assisting with household chores.
* Offer safe transportation, maintain accurate records, communicate effectively, handle emergencies, and adhere to care plans.
* Pursue continuous learning and uphold the dignity and privacy of clients.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar care role (preferred).
* FETAC Level 5 in Care Skills or higher (desirable).
* Confidence in using IT/Email (desirable).
* Caring and compassionate nature.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
* Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
* Willingness to undergo Garda background checks and relevant training.
* Full clean driving license and access to a car (desirable).
