We are seeking a confident, experienced, and results-driven Senior PMO Leader to join our Transformation Office. This critical role will provide high-level governance, oversight, and reporting across a diverse portfolio of transformation programs. Acting as the key liaison between delivery teams and the executive level, you will ensure that projects are on track, risks are actively mitigated, and budgets are well controlled and allocated.
You will be expected to engage directly with C-suite stakeholders, attend and contribute meaningfully to Steering Committees, and translate complex program details into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead PMO governance and assurance across multiple portfolios within the Transformation Office.
* Attend executive-level forums and Steering Committees, providing factual, jargon-free updates on project performance, risk, and spend.
* Ensure robust risk management, flagging and addressing issues early to prevent impact on delivery.
* Track and oversee budget allocations, ensuring financial accountability and alignment with business goals.
* Produce clear, accurate, and insightful reporting for senior leadership, highlighting key decisions, issues, and opportunities.
* Challenge delivery teams and sponsors constructively to ensure milestones are realistic and resources are optimized.
* Develop and continuously improve PMO standards, tools, and reporting frameworks to support efficient portfolio delivery.
* Support executive decision-making through evidence-based reporting and strategic portfolio insight.
Skills & Experience Required
* 7+ years of PMO leadership experience, with a strong focus on enterprise transformation and portfolio delivery.
* Proven ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.
* Deep understanding of project and portfolio governance, with a strong commercial acumen around budgets and cost control.
* Demonstrated ability to distill complex project updates into simple, business-relevant insights.
* Experience managing risks across large-scale programs and ensuring proactive mitigation strategies.
* Strong knowledge of portfolio management tools and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Clarity, Planview, MS Project).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills — confident presenting in high-stakes environments.
* Professional certifications such as PMP, MSP, MoP, or equivalent are advantageous.
