The Role
We are seeking a talented Interior Designer with a minimum of three years' professional experience to join our growing studio. This role will suit a designer who can;
* balance creativity with technical skill,
* develop concepts,
* prepare detailed drawings,
* coordinate suppliers,
* and support projects from early design through to on-site delivery.
You'll work closely with both the architectural and interiors teams on a wide range of projects, contributing ideas, managing packages, and helping to maintain the studio's high standards of design execution and client service.
Requirements for a successful applicant
Professional Experience
* Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in an interior design or architecture practice.
* Demonstrated experience delivering interior design projects from concept through to completion.
* Strong design sensibility, with a well-developed understanding of materials, finishes, lighting, joinery, and furniture specification.
* Proven ability to produce high-quality drawings, presentations, and visualisations (concept boards, FF&E schedules, detail drawings, etc.).
* Experience coordinating with suppliers, contractors and consultants, and supporting procurement and site installation stages.
* Proficiency in key design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop.
* Familiarity with Irish building regulations and technical standards related to interiors.
* Comfortable working collaboratively within a small team while managing own workload and deadlines.
Academic Qualifications
* A level 8 degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a closely related discipline from a recognised institution.
* Evidence of continued professional development or engagement with current design trends, sustainability, and materials innovation.
Personal Characteristics
* Strong visual and spatial awareness, with an eye for composition, proportion and detail.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills - both written and verbal.
* Collaborative, open and positive: enjoys working in a team environment and contributing ideas.
* Organised and methodical: able to handle multiple projects and deliver consistently high standards under pressure.
* Passionate about design and craftsmanship, with curiosity for new materials, technologies, and cultural influences.
* Professional, reliable, and client-focused: takes ownership of work and maintains the practice's ethos of thoughtful, well-made design.
