Away From Home is one of the critical growth drivers in the Snack 2030 Strategy, unlocking this channel for a business that has its heartland traditionally centred in more grocery customers. This role is created to drive a deeper understanding of the customers, channels, and consumers within the Away From Home (AFH) channel.
The PepsiCo Europe team is seeking a Customer & Shopper Insights Manager Away From Home Europe. This role reports to the European Insights Director with strong partnership with the Europe Away From Home team. It aims to understand AFH channel dynamics and trends, support the organized customers team and the new business team in Top-to-Tops (T2Ts) and tenders, and deliver data-driven insights to inform strategies.
Responsibilities
* Lead Shopper & Customer Understanding: Drive deep understanding of shopper and customer behaviour in the AFH channel across occasions and customer types (independent outlets, QSR, Recreation, Lodging).
* Channel & Sub-Channel Analysis: Analyse channel dynamics and trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
* Market Monitoring: Track market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviours within the AFH channel.
* Support for Organized Customers & New Business Teams: Collaborate with the organized customer’s team to provide insights and strategies for key accounts; support the new business team in T2Ts and tenders with data-driven recommendations.
* Strategy & Activation: Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention; present findings to senior stakeholders in partnership with Marketing and Commercial teams.
* Data Management & Reporting: Ensure data accuracy in reporting; use statistical tools to analyse data and generate reports; present findings to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
* Proven experience in market research, data analysis, and/or customer insights within the Food & Beverages industry.
* Experience and knowledge of the European market & Sales Operations.
* Experience with Away From Home channel.
* English is a must for this role.
