Responsive is hiring a Senior Solutions Consultant (IC) who blends master‑level storytelling with deep technical credibility in Generative AI and Agentic AI. This person will be based in either Ireland or the London metro, and will partner with EU-based Account Executives and Account Managers to win new logos and drive expansions, translating complex requirements into clear business value, compelling demos, and disciplined Proofs of Concept (POCs). This role emphasizes AI/Agentic AI expertise—designing, explaining, and de‑risking LLM‑powered capabilities for enterprise buyers.
Essential Functions
Sales Execution & Deal Strategy

Own the full technical sales motion from discovery through close across new logo and expansion opportunities
Establish yourself as the primary technical advisor for your territory or segment
Lead business-value storytelling that connects Responsive to executive-level outcomes
Apply frameworks like MEDDPICC and Command of the Message to sharpen discovery, scoping, and deal inspection

Value Orchestration

Deliver compelling first- and second-call demos tailored by segment (SMB / Mid-Market / Enterprise)
Scope POCs and workshops with clear acceptance criteria, timelines, and success metrics
Maximize POC-to-close conversion; document risks and maintain accurate technical stages in forecast
Position Responsive’s AI capabilities clearly for both business and technical audiences
Run AI-focused discovery to surface enterprise questions around data privacy, governance, and adoption readiness

Customer Success & Expansion

Support Account Managers on expansion plays — diagnose adoption gaps and quantify the impact of additional investment
Help troubleshoot, prioritize, and escalate issues for assigned customers to ensure satisfaction and retention

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Support to drive customer satisfaction
Bring structured field feedback to Product and PMM and be the voice of the field on roadmap priorities and messaging
Represent Responsive onsite at conferences or events, client onsite meetings as required

Qualifications
3-7+ years in pre‑sales Solutions Consulting / Sales Engineering at a fast-growing enterprise SaaS company
Proven track record running complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from discovery through close
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering tailored demos and governed POCs
Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, MCP and Agentic AI
Master storyteller - can translate technical capability into business outcomes for both executives and practitioners
Strong active listening, communication, and professional presentation skills
High emotional intelligence; able to read a room and adapt on the fly
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive startup DNA with a do-whatever-it-takes mindset
Data-driven: tracks success metrics and identifies improvement opportunities
Background in RFPs, proposals, or knowledge / content management workflows is nice to have
Awareness of major AI platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI) from a product or demo perspective
Degree in CS, Engineering, Sales, or a technical field — or equivalent practical experience
