Role Profile
The School of Computing is seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Computer Science to join its expanding team of talented academics. The successful candidate will have a strong research track record in Software Engineering and/or Data Analytics/AI and will contribute to teaching, curriculum development and administrative activities in the School of Computing, across all levels. The appointee must have a demonstrated track record of teaching at B.Sc. (or higher) level and should also have an excellent research track record (including publication in high-quality peer‑reviewed journals/conferences, engagement in the supervision of research students, engagement with industry, attracting research funding, and other forms of international research leadership). They will be expected to demonstrate an alignment of their research interests with existing research expertise within the School of Computing.
Salary Scale
Assistant Professor - €64,583 - €103,501. Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy.
