In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of a Bord Bia Learning and development strategy and framework, to support the delivery of the organisations strategy and build the capability of its people. Develop programmes to deliver a highly skilled, digitally enabled and agile workforce, promoting a continuous learning culture and enabling smarter working.
What you will do
1. Collaborate with Bord Bia HR leaders and external Learning and Development experts to map, maintain and evaluate, a structured Learning and Development framework and policies for Bord Bia delivering on our Learning and Development strategy, incorporating; high potential talent and career development programmes, priority capability building programmes, leadership and management development, and functional development programmes, aligned with the organisational strategy.
2. Develop and promote access to learning through the Bord Bia learning directory, enabling self-service in the first instance to learning management systems, primarily Bord Bia Learning and Development Zone, supplemented with LinkedIN Learning and language learning platforms and guidance from within the learning and development section of HR department.
3. Develop the Bord Bia Learning and Development Zone, to become the designated location for all Bord Bia mandatory trainings, critical capability builds, and the source for training on policies. Build categorisation within and continue to develop online content for the system building a best-in-class online learning management system for the organisation.
4. Promote a learning and development culture within Bord Bia, advise management and staff on talent and career development programmes, deliver high impact training programmes, interventions, tools and techniques, underpinned by and assisting managers and staff with the development of performance growth plans (PGP's) supported by HR processes and systems.
5. Manage, implement and advise on learning platform selection (eg LinkedIn Learning and language learning platforms) which will best deliver learning objectives and build capability to meet the needs of the organisation. Assess the return on investment of these platforms on a regular basis through reports and qualitative feedback to ensure value for money and learning objectives are being achieved.
6. Identify, design and implement capability building programmes in collaboration with business leaders, as highlighted by the organisation's strategic objectives, ensuring a base skill capability level at the outset is established for measurement and training evaluation purposes. Liase with the Knowledge and Market Intelligence Manager to include knowledge management tools and techniques to drive the impact of programmes.
7. Collaborate with the HR Executive to fully utilise and develop the talent and career development area of the HRIS and the international graduate to manage the transfer of the training data to the HRIS and the administration of the learning and development platforms.
8. Procure appropriate vendors to deliver on learning and development objectives and manage these service providers through agreed SLAs and KPIs
9. Manage assigned budgets in accordance with One Bord Bia procedures and adhere to the One Bord Bia Operating Model.
About You
Essential Knowledge, Skills Capabilities
Knowledge:
* A minimum of 5-8 years' experience in a TD role and ideally with a relevant qualification at degree level.
* Learning and development strategy, frameworks, policies and needs identification Talent and career development programmes
* Management development programmes with the assistance of EQ, 360 profiling and people assessment processes
* Digitally enabled Learning Management Systems
