Dairy Farm Manager and Herd Manager Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Dairy Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dairy farm. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale dairy farming operations.
* Manage the day-to-day activities of the dairy farm, including milking 500 cows and calf-rearing.
* Oversee the maintenance of farm equipment and machinery, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
* Lead a team of farmers and provide guidance and support as needed.
* Develop and implement effective pasture management strategies to ensure optimal cow health and productivity.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with a team. Experience in operating and maintaining heavy machinery is essential. In addition, we offer relocation assistance and a competitive housing allowance.
