Overview
We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our team in CHO 8 Meath CDNT 5 Navan/Slane. This is a permanent part-time role.
Responsibilities
To work as a senior member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children 0 - 18 years and families within the region. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a physiotherapy service to include assessment, diagnostics and intervention and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities.
Requirements / Essential Criteria
* Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
* Have three years full time (or an aggregate of three years full time) post qualification clinical experience.
* Have the requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
* Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
* Be eligible to work in the state
* Valid driving licence for within the state / jurisdiction with access to own transport in order to deliver services across a large geographical area
* AnnualRegistration: On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by CORU
* Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland
Desirable Criteria
* A minimum of 1 year's Physiotherapy paediatric experience working with children with disabilities

* Experience and/or training in clinical supervision
* Group work
* Supervision of other staff and students
* Physiotherapy caseload management
* Experience of delivering education and/or conducting research
* Experience in service development and practice standards development
* Experience in coordinating clinics and leading and working at a consultative level in clinics alongside consultant and other lead therapists
* Experience in managing databases (e.g., hip surveillance, surgery, Botulinum Toxin) and conducting audits
