Occupli Recruitment is currently recruiting an EH&S Advisor for a client in the manufacturing industry based in Cork.
12 month contract
Responsibilities include:
Advising on Health, Safety, and Environmental issues daily on site, attending site meetings, and chairing safety meetings.Conducting and writing site inspection and audit reports, delivering site inductions and toolbox talks.Recommending appropriate corrective actions to Project/Site Managers based on inspection and audit findings.Writing, reviewing, and assessing risk assessments and method statements, and advising on risk reduction strategies.Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint).Additional skills:
Conducting Ergonomics Assessments.Opportunities for training and skill enhancement.RequirementsBSc in Health and Safety, Higher Diploma SHWW, or Diploma SHWW.1-3 Years of relevant experience.Pro-active and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.Ability to work effectively in a team.Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.
