The successful candidate will get exposure to a broad range of financial and operational assignments and gain experience working with all layers of management.Recognise, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values, which centre on our commitment to People, Clients and PerformanceAs a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needsWork with the IT audit team to develop IT RCM's across the GroupTest IT General Controls and document your findings in the Audit Board repositoryPerform other Internal Audit dutiesKeep auditees and management up to date during the audit process through effective communicationDevelop and agree audit findings and guide management on remediation plansPrepare and drive the issuance of audit reports in a timely manner and follow up on reported audit findingsProvide support on Sarbanes Oxley queries and assist the business with updating process documentationParticipate in the Internal Audit planning processPromote the Internal Audit brand internally and encourage stakeholders to engage with Internal AuditContribute to the development of the ICON Internal Audit departmentAbility to travel internationally approximately 10% (Flexibility is required but we work together to ensure travel plans are convenient for all concerned)What you will need: ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA / CISA certification is advantageousStrong IT skills with an interest in General IT control testingStrong technical audit and accounting skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively at all levelsAct in a professional and ethical manner at all timesAbility to effectively work on multiple projects at the one time within a team environmentFlexibility to changes in the audit scheduleAbility to deliver assigned audits in line with the audit plan and audit methodologyUnderstanding of Internal Audit's role within an organisationSolid business acumenDesirable Experience working within a public listed company or other large organisation is highly advantageousUnderstanding of Sarbanes Oxley requirementsOracle or other major ERP system experience an advantagePharmaceutical or CRO industry experienceWhat ICON can offer you:
