Site Manager – Residential Housing
Our client, a highly reputable and long-established main contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a new residential project located in Kilkenny. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking team on a long-term housing development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day operations on-site to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
* Coordinate all trades and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of workmanship and adherence to plans/specifications.
* Implement and monitor project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Manage site staff, resources, and logistics effectively.
* Liaise with the project team, consultants, suppliers, and clients.
* Conduct regular site meetings and provide progress reports to senior management.
* Proactively resolve any issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Site Manager role, ideally on residential housing projects.
* Proven track record of managing similar residential developments from groundworks to handover
* Excellent knowledge of building regulations and health & safety standards.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
* Relevant construction qualifications (e.g., Degree/Diploma in Construction Management or Engineering preferred).
