About the team
You will join our growing Digital Solutions team to lead the technical design and implementation of our innovative fleet management solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and guiding a motivated development team focused on creating scalable, reliable, and high-performance platform components for vehicle fleets. As a Lead Engineer, you will serve as a technical authority within the organization, collaborating with product managers, sales teams, and customers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. You will drive technical excellence and innovation while mentoring junior engineers and establishing best practices for software development. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of fleet management technology, working at the intersection of automotive expertise and cutting-edge software development.
Job Description
Your tasks:
1. Lead the technical design and implementation of light vehicle fleets (Vandy.pro), including vehicle telematics, document management, and fleet administration.
2. Supervise and guide a motivated development team to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance platform components.
3. Implement data analytics capabilities to provide actionable insights for fleet owners and managers.
4. Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and technical documentation requirements.
5. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
6. Participate in strategic technical decision-making processes and provide input on technology choices.
7. Stay current with emerging technologies (such as AI) and industry trends, recommending adoptions when beneficial.
8. Manage technical debt and drive continuous improvement of the platform architecture.
9. Support sales and customer success teams with technical expertise during sales and implementation processes.
10. Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection regulations.
