We are recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager in the Telecoms Sector to cover Cork and surrounding areasThe Business Development Manager will develop and implement new business strategies through sourcing, negotiating and closing new opportunities in line with company objectives. The role will also entail responsibility for the management of existing clients and delivery of agreed sales targets and KPIs.Key responsibilities of the roleEngaging directly with executive level decision makers in a wide range of commercial business sector customersSelf-generating new sales opportunities as well as responding to sales leads created by our office-based teamsSelling our product portfolio across your territoryAchieve set monthly and quarterly sales targetsDevelop strategic understanding of our existing and prospective new customers including size, turnover, key stakeholders, and business strategyWork closely with product specialists (including key suppliers) and implementation team on all new customers ensuring their journey from prospect to customer is seamless and professionalUsing your strong commercial acumen to create competitive, compelling proposals for our customersThe experience and skills that we are looking for include:Minimum of 2 years sales experience, ideally in field or B2B salesFull driving License required with access to a car insured for business travel purposesProven to be excellent at self-generating new business opportunitiesProven experience of closing sales opportunities and achieving allocated sales targetsPrevious experience working within the telecoms sector (mobile phone, broadband, on premise or cloud-based telephony solutions) will be advantageousA positive, ambitious, and committed approachWhat can you expect of us?A friendly culture that mirrors our proposition to our customers.A fast-growing organisation that defines itself as being agile and innovativeA drive for continuous improvement, which you will be empowered to get behind from day one.A commitment to building a working environment that values inclusivity, innovation, agility, and drive.A car allowance is also included with the role.
