Corporate Security Officer

Pay rate: €***** per hour*

Full-time contract (36 hours per week, up to 48 hours)
Responsibilities
Emergency Response – respond promptly to incidents, alarms and emergencies.
Surveillance Monitoring – keep constant vigilance over cameras and alarm systems.
Patrol and Inspection – conduct regular patrols, enforce security policies.
Access Control – manage entry to restricted areas and issue badges or keys.
Reporting – document incidents and maintain accurate reports.
Collaboration – coordinate with security personnel, law enforcement and emergency responders.
Training and Education – stay informed on best practices, undergo training.
Parking Management – oversee parking activities and permits.
Administrative Tasks – monitor security mailbox, manage lost property, support events, escort requests.
Additional duties may be assigned by the Security Supervisor.
Qualifications
Previous experience in security, law enforcement or related field preferred.
Physical fitness and ability to perform essential duties; CPR and first aid certification may be required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Team player with ability to work independently.
Integrity and commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
Minimum Requirements
Excellent communication skills.
PSA licence desirable (course and licence provided).
Full flexibility with working hours.
Excellent personal appearance.
Previous similar role experience.
Methodical, organised work approach.
Team player, can work unsupervised, excellent timekeeping.
Understanding of customer service.
Good standard computer skills; control room experience preferable.
