As a key communications professional, this role will play a pivotal part in shaping the public perception of our institution at an exciting time for its development.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in communications, media and/or journalism, preferably within a fast-paced environment. This may include experience working in a press office or as a journalist.
* Compose high-quality news articles to elevate our profile
* Collaborate with staff across various faculties and departments to develop engaging content that highlights our institution's strengths
* Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses or identifying senior contacts when necessary
* Support in researching and developing storylines/angles/messages, as well as crafting briefs for media outreach
* Work closely with the Digital team to create and disseminate social media messaging, identify compelling imagery and support the creation of digital video content
