Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage budgets, cost plans, and valuations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Administer subcontracts, variations, and final accounts in accordance with contractual requirements.
* Monitor costs, identify risks, and ensure value for money throughout the build process.
* Produce regular financial reports for internal review and provide analysis on project performance.
* Liaise with site teams, suppliers, and consultants to ensure commercial alignment and achieve project objectives.
* Support procurement and tendering activities to secure the best possible deals for our organization.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 3-5 years' post-qualification experience in a similar role.
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement practices in Ireland.
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.
* Proficiency in industry software such as CostX or Buildsoft.
* RICS or SCSI membership (desirable).
