We're working with a market leading contractor who are seeking Electrical Cx Engineers to join Hyperscale Data Centre projects across Europe
As an Electrical CX Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering the Electrical equipment commissioning deliverables. As part of the CX Team, you will be responsible for the quality delivery of projects & equipment, ensuring that all client specifications are met, through inspections & testing. You will work closely with the CX Lead as well as a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to deliver cutting-edge projects while ensuring that all client specifications are met.
Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the company database for each project, ensuring it is kept up to date and accurate, which will essentially deliver the handover, testing & script documentation
Liaise with the QA Team on handover documentation, system handover and tagging dates.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the pre-commissioning and commissioning execution plans (including the schedule and the mobilization of personnel and equipment).
Preparation of the pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures with the Specialist Vendor and suppliers.
Review of the performance test procedures and of the operating manuals with the Vendor team.
Execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.
Supervision of the performance tests if required.
Liaising with AP and Testing teams ahead of functional switching and energisations.
Attend meetings with management and subcontractors as required.
Requirements:
Strong experience on systems such as: UPS,Busbar,Generators,Switchgears
Experience on Data centre projects is preferred but not essential
2-3+ minimum Commissioning Experience
EU/UK Passport
