This senior leadership role oversees finance operations across multiple entities and subsidiaries, providing shared services to a range of organisations. Head of Finance Operations Permanent | Full-Time | Hybrid Salary Range: €85-100k per annum Key Responsibilities Lead and manage core finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll & pensions, client accounts, banking, taxation, general ledger, and system administration. Ensure accurate and timely financial processing, reporting, and month-end/year-end close. Oversee cash flow forecasting, banking operations, and compliance with facility agreements. Strengthen and maintain robust internal control systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders. Drive automation, process improvements, and system optimisation across finance operations. Collaborate with FP&A, Audit & Risk, Procurement, and Company Secretarial teams. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance operations team, embedding a culture of excellence and accountability. Define and monitor KPIs to measure and improve financial operational performance. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is essential. Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is essential. 1015 years post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role within a commercial or semi-state organisation. Experience in managing shared services and driving finance transformation programmes. Strong ERP and systems experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, MS Dynamics). Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, controls, and regulatory frameworks. ESG reporting and change management experience desirable. Whats on Offer Competitive salary of €100,000 €120,000, reflecting the seniority of the role.
