We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join a small, friendly finance team within a State body based in Dublin 7. This part-time, on-site 3 days per week Tue to Thu Working closely with a team of three, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, and supporting the finance function across a range of duties. Key Responsibilities Processing invoices and managing accounts payable/receivable Bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance Assisting with monthly and year-end accounts preparation Maintaining financial records and documentation in line with compliance requirements Supporting payroll and expense processing General finance and administrative support to the Finance Manager and wider team Requirements Previous experience in a similar accounts or bookkeeping role Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Proficiency in accounting software (Sage) and Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team Experience in a public or not-for-profit sector environment is desirable but not essential What We Offer Competitive salary: €27,000 per annum (based on 3 days per week) Pro-rata holiday entitlement and benefits package Supportive and collaborative working environment Convenient central location in Dublin 7, easily accessible by public transport Stable, public sector organisation with a strong mission To apply please send in your CV via the web link Please note only candidates that match the minimum job requirements above will be contacted for this role.
