Job Title: Transport Planner
We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for coordinating and organizing loads/orders with our transportation team and drivers.
Your primary focus will be on effectively scheduling and monitoring job orders received from our clients using our transport management software. You will also work closely with drivers to ensure jobs are completed in line with customer requirements and specifications.
In addition, you will engage directly with clients to provide regular updates on job collection/delivery times. Your strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities will enable you to present yourself clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and organize loads/orders with the transportation team and drivers.
* Schedule and monitor job orders received from our clients using our transport management software.
* Work closely with drivers to ensure jobs are completed in line with customer requirements and specifications.
