Working closely with the CTO and leadership team, you will guide and scale a talented group of developers, modernise platforms, and ensure technology continues to be a key enabler of the firm's growth and competitive advantage. Your role will blend

What you'll do:
* Take full ownership of the end-to-end development strategy, roadmap, and execution.
* Lead, inspire, and scale a high-calibre engineering team focused on mission-critical investment products.
* Shape and implement modern engineering practices (Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, cloud-native).
* Partner with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives to align technology with business strategy.
* Make key strategic decisions that drive the firm's profitability, efficiency, and innovation.
* Position yourself as a
future CTO
, with a clear succession plan in place.
What you bring:
* 10+ years' experience in software engineering leadership within large-scale, high-performing environments (financial services experience highly valued).
* Proven success delivering enterprise-grade cloud native, high-availability applications.
* Strong experience scaling engineering organisations and embedding best-in-class practices.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of influencing at senior executive level.
* Ownership of development strategy, governance, and budgets.
* Deep knowledge of
cloud technologies
and modern development methodologies.
The Rewards:
* Base salary:
€140,000 – €170,000 – DOE
* 20% Bonus
