Fund Accountant Role
We are seeking an experienced Fund Accountant to join our team, working with leading investment firms and contributing to the growth of our Private Equity business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support for Private Equity funds through fund accounting and financial reporting services.
* Deliver high-quality service to clients by meeting deadlines and ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
* Liaise with various stakeholders including clients, investors, auditors, and other parties involved in fund activities and audit queries.
* Prepare NAVs, board pack reports, and regulatory returns.
* Evaluate and process fund expenses and operating costs accurately.
* Collaborate with team members on process improvements and ad-hoc projects.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA preferred.
* Knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, or IFRS is desirable.
* Experience in management accounts preparation (debits/credits) and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
* Knowledge of Private Equity fund administration or willingness to learn quickly.
