Business Development Executive - Ireland
Full-time, permanent, 39 hours per week (flexible). Homebased with an operational base in Cork, Ireland. Significant travel across UK & Ireland.
As Business Development Executive for PSS UK/IRE, reporting to Managing Director, you will drive region’s business development of PSS, ensuring consistent, rapid, and sustainable growth in sales across Ireland and the United Kingdom. Work in collaboration with experienced PSS operations leaders.
Responsibilities
Drive the business development strategy and growth efforts for PSS across the UK and Ireland.
Work closely with PSS Leadership to understand priorities and set ambitious yet achievable annual targets.
Identify, pursue, and win new PSS opportunities, developing key accounts.
Assess client needs and help design tailored service solutions, collaborating with PSS Leadership to create proposals and present to clients, delivering outcomes that meet revenue and profitability goals.
Collaborate with global colleagues on multi-regional projects, manage contracting processes for new business, maintain accurate CRM reporting, and support marketing initiatives to promote the Eurofins brand.
Monitor customer satisfaction for existing clients and undertake additional duties as required to support successful service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree (or equivalent experience) in a life sciences discipline, or relevant vocational training and business expertise.
Proven business development success at senior levels within the target industry, ideally with experience in Pharma Insourcing.
Comfortable operating within GxP environments; ensures all activities meet regulatory expectations.
Expert knowledge of product commercialisation, manufacturing, supply chain processes, and associated testing and service needs within clients’ markets.
Experience managing key commercial and contractual processes, such as CDAs, MSAs, and pricing agreements; supporting negotiations and resolving commercial issues with senior oversight.
Strong communicator, presenter, and team player; builds effective networks and maintains a customer-focused, service-led approach.
