Job Description:
The role of a Technical Support Specialist is to provide timely and effective support to customers, both directly and indirectly through a network of sales companies. This involves coordinating and supporting service engineers, customers, and globally located sales teams.
The primary focus of this position is on customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and business development. The successful candidate will work closely with internal departments to eliminate faults and improve products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support for a full range of products and services.
* Deliver timely support to customers, either directly or through the network of sales companies.
* Offer on-site support in emergency cases.
* Prepare and deliver technical reports on project/job completion.
* Train clients, employees, and apprentices on technical skills.
* Liaise with internal departments to identify and resolve technical issues.
* Collaborate with the sales department and global network of sales companies to promote and develop business opportunities.
* Develop and maintain performance metrics and targets.
Requirements:
* A third-level qualification in engineering or a related field.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
* Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
* Experience in a similar technical support role.
* Knowledge of PLCs and Variable Speed Drives (VSD).
