Irish Fit Coach is a thriving community-focused gym based in Killester with over 200 members. We specialise in small group personal training, over 60s classes, PT, yoga, and Pilates. Our mission is to create a welcoming, supportive, and motivating environment where people of all ages and abilities can achieve their fitness goals.
Role overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Part-Time Trainer to join our team. This role is ideal for a qualified trainer who loves working with people, can adapt to different client needs, and enjoys being part of a supportive team environment. You'll coach small group PT sessions, assist with programming, and help members feel confident and motivated.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality training sessions for small groups and individuals.
• Support specialised classes (e.g., over 60s, strength training, general fitness).
• Provide guidance on correct form, technique, and safe training practices.
• Build positive relationships with members to encourage progress and retention.
• Contribute to the welcoming and supportive community culture at Irish Fit Coach.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and motivating training environment.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance member experience.
Requirements
• Qualified fitness professional (EQF Level 3 or equivalent minimum).
• Previous experience delivering group and/or 1:1 training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and team-oriented.
• Ability to adapt sessions to different age groups and fitness levels.
• First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Hours & Pay
• Part-time: approx. 8–12 hours per week (with potential to increase).
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends.
• Competitive hourly rate (based on experience and qualifications).
