We are working with a tier-one national law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their esteemed Competition practice within their Dublin office.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join a highly regarded Competition & Procurement team, supporting the firm's international client base in complex, multi-jurisdictional deals. The candidate's duties will include advising on matters such as merger control, public procurement, foreign direct investment control, and cartels and abuse of dominance.
The candidate will gain a unique, well-rounded understanding of competition law through working on a diverse caseload of international, EU, and domestic competition matters.
Essential Criteria:
* 1-4 PQE;
* Strong background in EU and competition law. Previous experience in procurement law highly advantageous;
* Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
* Outstanding academics;
* Technically excellent;
* Negotiation skills;
* Willingness to become involved in business development;
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
