About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Structural & Architectural Steel installer to join our fabrication team. The role involves installing structural and architectural steel products in accordance with engineering drawings and site specifications (e.g., staircases, handrails, platforms, balustrades, brackets, etc.) on construction sites nationwide. This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone who is mechanically minded, safety-conscious, and confident working within an active building environment.
Key Responsibilities
Travel to client construction sites to install fabricated steel components.
Read and interpret engineering/fabrication drawings.
Work with hand tools, drills, grinders, and lifting equipment.
Safely install steelwork in compliance with on-site health & safety regulations.
Liaise with site managers and internal production team to ensure accurate installations.
Assist with occasional workshop work in Ballyfin, if required.
Requirements
Full clean driving licence (essential). Trailer licence an advantage.
Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
Proven experience in steel site installation.
Ability to work from technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and physically fit.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
