Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Platforms Technical Support Lead to join our organization.
In this role, you will oversee the technical support team responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing Data Loss Prevention systems.
* Leading and mentoring a team of technical support engineers specialising in DLP platforms
* Ensuring timely resolution of support tickets and adherence to SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
* Tuning and upgrading system components, following internal testing and change management processes
* Working with key stakeholders and vendors to implement new or additional DLP capabilities to enhance our risk-driven data protection
* Contributing to projects that improve current DLP capabilities, drive adoption, and enable future growth
* Conducting root cause analysis for recurring issues and implementing preventive measures
* Acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues related to DLP platforms
* Partnering within teams to ensure our DLP platforms meet operational needs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience operating and supporting DLP tools across multiple security domains such as: Network, Email, Endpoint and Web
* Exposure to, and knowledge of enterprise DLP platforms eg Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian Endpoint DLP, ProofPoint, Microsoft Purview
* Strong skills managing application deployments, configurations and updates running on Linux (RHEL) operating systems, with a strong knowledge of Linux Commands, files systems, permissions and process management
* Understanding and working knowledge of current data protection, information security and cyber security practices and techniques
* Direct experience managing, mentoring and leading teams
* A collaborative approach to solving technical challenges and improving security
* A desire to learn, combined with a collaborative working style and strong personal work ethic
* Experience in a 24/7 operations environment, emphasising reliability and system availability
