Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
* Leadership and supervision of employees in the goods inwards department
* Improvement and assurance of efficient workflows in the receiving area
* Coordination of goods receipt operations
* Organization and execution of incoming goods inspections
* Processing of claims related to incoming goods
* Plan, organize, delegate, and evaluate daily workflows to ensure timely achievement of targets.
* Analyze operational workflows and initiate improvements considering economic and sustainable factors.
* Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure material flow.
* Uphold company standards for material handling, health and safety, hygiene, and security.
* Ensure excellent housekeeping practices and minimize risks by addressing defective equipment promptly.
* Manage employee administration including absence requests, onboarding, and conduct structured employee reviews.
* Prepare and present reports to support management decisions regarding operational and team performance.
* Support recruitment process as well as new hire onboarding, including workstation setup and induction.
* Provide guidance and assistance to employees in difficult situations, involving HR or occupational health when necessary.
* Any other duties as delegated and directed by the manager.
Qualifications, Requirements & Experience
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
* Proven experience with warehouse activities and inventory control.
* Forklift license and operational experience required.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel essential); experience with ERP systems, WMS preferred.
* Mechanical or electrical industrial knowledge is advantageous.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of building relationships at all organizational levels.
* Target-driven, problem solver, self-motivated, and persistent in managing and motivating teams.
