THE ROLE|
The new team member will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the food and beverage team. You will work closely with the management team to deliver exceptional customer service experiences and maintain operational efficiency. It is essential to motivate and guide your team to meet sales and customer satisfaction targets. You should be knowledgeable and confident in communicating with customers and have previous experience in a supervisory role.
RESPONSIBILITIES|
4. Lead daily operations of all F&B operations including restaurant, bar and event catering.
5. Responsible for all elements of staff management (10 staff) including coordination of daily operational plans, recruitment, training, development, rostering and motivating the team to achieve common goals
6. Oversee service delivery during key events, functions and regular dining
7. Manage systems for stock management, cost control and supplier coordination
8. Collaborate creatively with the Head Chef on menu selection for dining and events, as well as beverage offerings
9. Ensure customers receive the highest quality service and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
10. Maintain the highest standards of compliance with Health and Safety regulations, as well as HACCP
REQUIREMENTS|
11. Previous management experience in a hospitality setting within a hospitality venue, preferably hotel or fine dining setting
12. Up-to-date with knowledge of Irish food and alcohol regulations
13. Own transport is essential due to the location
14. Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
15. Customer-focused with strong relationship management abilities
16. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and familiarity with computerised management and control systems
17. Flexibility to work varying hours including some evenings and weekends
