The Organisation
NICHE Health Project (Cork) CLG is a longstanding community health and development organisation, established since 1998. NICHE works with local people and services to improve health, wellbeing, and quality of life in Knocknaheeny, Hollyhill, and surrounding areas of Cork city.
NICHE adopts a holistic, community development approach to health, delivering a wide range of programmes including social prescribing, community gardening, movement and therapeutic activities, and community-based initiatives that promote connection, confidence, and wellbeing.
The organisation works collaboratively with individuals, groups, and statutory services to address the social determinants of health and build stronger, healthier communities.
